Change requires a lot of time, patience and resilience.
Knowing how to lead change is one of the most important leadership qualities - combining wisdom, direction, focus and… time.
When conducting change, many of us dream of fast&furious results. In many cases, MVPs and quick wins are really useful to validate exceptional new ideas. But change will always take time.
Understanding the timescale of change is like looking in the mirror and watching your hair grow... this is why time and patience are so important in creating an impact.

Microscope/macro-lens to represent the four seasons in our human world.
The Unified FrontEnd (UFE) Agile Squad delivered the first phase of the 'National Broadband Ireland' (NBI) project to production in a full agile setting.
This project is an important milestone for Vodafone Ireland, as it enabled call center and shop agents to start selling fixed line products for both consumer and business segments using the new national network wholesaler, bringing Vodafone Fibre Broadband to more irish homes.
Na amazing team effort in the past months, specially in the last few weeks to get the project over the line on schedule with a very demanding customer.
Great work! Rita Peneque, Andreia Rodrigues Santos, Gil Pedrosa, Sílvia Sousa Gama, Fábio André Carvalho, Gonçalo Marques Silva, Pedro Torcato
Stay tuned, next milestones to watch out for:
- Enabling pre-orders in addresses where NBI supports pre-ordering services;
- Support the sale of the new VTV products replacing the legacy TV platform products.
To celebrate the summer weather,
The Celfocus team came together
For laughs, drinks, food and whatever
At an "arraial" everyone will remember forever!
On June 6th, Celfocus hosted a Summer Get Together. An event with no agenda simply a moment to come together and celebrate the summer weather, enjoy each other's company with laughs, drinks, snacks under an "arraial"* spirit.
Look back on this amazing day, here.
On June 27th, 29th and July 1st , Celfocus hosted a 3-day internal event dedicated to application security! On these days, the team held inspiring round tables conversations on good practices around AppSecModerator, knowledge sharing session with external partners and internal examples of what we are doing in our projects. As well as workshops on key tools and trends of the industry.
Additionally, at this year’s event a brand-new hacking activity was available. HACKED CITY – a 3D hackable city, was prepared for our internal “hackers” to discover vulnerabilities and learn to better deliver more secure applications.
