An impactful job always results from a good mix of effort and joy. Repetitive and easy tasks rapidly lead us to frustration and boredom. The opposite is mysterious: how can we be motivated when suffering a bit (or a lot), when solving the most confusing and outstanding challenges?
Sometimes we contribute as entrepreneurs, act like heroes on an odd quest or stand out as the best teammate everyone wants in crisis!
In the end, true joy happens to people who want to be part of the progress, participating in something useful and desirable. This is what value, progress and self-realization are about.
The Heko Award recently awarded to our Kanban Team represents our participation in the Siebel application, database, and infrastructure upgrade at Safaricom over the past twelve months.
This project will ensure the business can reap all benefits available on the Siebel IP21 version. Moreover, brought a simple and much easier to use UI, resulting in both technical and business user experience benefits, with remarkable user interface improvements, enhanced system performance and faster handling times.
Important, and lesson learn to all, the award was not won by only what we did before Go-Live, but mostly by what we achieved in Post Go-Live weeks, where we were together in joint Focus Group with platform users, that provided their direct feedback, and shortly after they able to see and grasp immediate benefits from the quick and smooth turnaround of our Kanban team.
Congratulations to all those involved, and a special thanks to our Kanban team, which was the agile squad responsible for developing all the UI requirements (in Siebel Open UI), providing support to the Siebel Upgrade project, and for interacting after Post-Cutover with Retail and COPs teams and incorporating new requirements that improve even further the user experience (UX) and average handling time (AHT) with the contact/customer.
The e-Signature solution’s latest version 1.9.5. is now available for BPI. This transformation project allows BPI to use eSign in all branch processes, within the Go Banking platform for which Celfocus is also responsible.
eSign is cloud or on-premises solution used to manage processes that require digital signatures. It delivers great user experience, by providing real-time signing moments between stakeholders, reducing the abandonment of acquiring a new product or subscribing to a new service. The solution provides a unified toolkit for all digital signing needs: from document creation (e.g. contracts) to all the necessary steps (individual signature of all parties involved such as Customers, Guarantor, Company Employee/Representative, Customer Legal Representative), centralising all options into one platform.
We’ve launched Celfocus Trends! This initiative, led by the Communication team in partnership with all Business Units, is a collection of short videos on technological trends, competitors' landscape, solutions, challenges created by our very own Subject Matter Experts. Below you can watch the first video entitled "The convenience of things that communicate" by our colleague Henrique Nemesio on behalf of the Revenue Management team.
