ISMS and PMS Certifications

During the period from June 28^th to July 3^rd, 2023, Celfocus had the first follow-up audit by APCER since the certification of the Information Security and Privacy Management Systems in 2022.

In this first follow-up audit it was pointed out that both Information Security Management System (ISMS) and Privacy Management System (PMS) cover Celfocus entire activity and respond very consistently to the requirements of the reference standards (ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO/IEC 27701:2019), to the applicable legal and regulatory requirements, as well as to the needs and expectations of the stakeholders, which are converted into objectives for information security and privacy established within the scope of the respective policies.

Here are some of the points highlighted by the audit team:

• Commitment and competence of all parties involved in the audit, for conducting the sessions effectively and for bringing added value to ISMS and PMS;
• ISMS and PMS governance models that allow an effective interconnection of all business, operational, and support areas with the information security and privacy management teams which greatly contributes to the consistent and compliant conduct of these management systems, with adherence to the policies and good practices in place, as well as awareness of compliance importance;
• Celfocus’ level of performance, defined by the maturity of its business and support processes and the high-quality delivery standards, continues to be ensured in an increasingly mature manner regarding information security and privacy requirements which are consistent and demonstrably compliant with the applicable standards.

Next year, Celfocus will have the second follow-up audit and in 2025 a new certification triennium begins, in which we will already have to take into account the upgrade of the ISO/IEC 27001 to the 2022 version.

Egypt's Delivery Centre 1st Anniversary – June 21st

Hackathon 2023 – July 3^rd to 7^th

During a week, participants had the opportunity to solve challenges and secure the "Hacked City" in the World of Technical Security

From physical challenges that required ingenuity to virtual ones that allowed participants to hack into our very own "Hacked City," this event pushed limits and ignited creativity.

The Hackathon was not just about competition! On July 3^rd, we had the chance to engage with industry experts and learn more about the challenges of cybersecurity! If you didn’t have the chance to attend the live session, you can find the video here.
