Making a complex device user-friendly has been a long-time challenge for the telecommunications industry. The time to revolutionise this device has come
A router is a networking device that forwards data packets between computer networks, acting as local networks’ connection to the internet. To enjoy a successful internet connection, households and businesses across the globe have become router owners. However, many internet users are still unaware of the equipment’s primary features and specifications.
Earlier this month, Celfocus helped Vodafone Portugal overcome this challenge by delivering an easy to use application that allows new customers to configure their routers, switch their network’s name and password at any time, turn Wi-Fi on an off when away for long periods of time, as well as configure the Wi-Fi channel. Using this application, Vodafone customers will also be able to view the number of devices connected to their personal network in real-time and have access to router details at the click of a button.
In the near-future all Vodafone routers will be supported by this application, making the user-friendly application available to all Vodafone customers.
