When you think of a project, which memory feels more like your favourite sweet? Why?

Considering chocolate is my favourite sweet... NOC CIAS DevOps.Good chocolate, doesn’t matter which type or combination. In this case, this project can be a creamy milk chocolate because of the marvelous team I worked with; a chocolate with nuts because of the constant discoveries of small pieces of challenges that made me stop, feel and plan new ways of tasting the project, as well as… really bitter chocolate (90% cocoa!) – for those moments I had to accept the bitter sweet for not being able to change something and which allowed me to grow, learn and appreciate.

In which situations did you have to find a “sweetspot” to convince others about the way to go?

In the moments of inevitable change. Waterfall to Agile -> Teams Scaling to Teams Descaling. In every moment of change, people must reorganize, adapt, know themselves better and find the team’s sweetspot. I accompanied the changed, kept firm, positive and smiling. In reality, it was about being Willy Wonka in the chocolate factory.

In your job, from which real sour experience did you learn the most? Why?

Having to smile when all I really wanted was to be Veruca Salt from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

If Celfocus were a dessert, which would it be? Why?

We are authentic Chefs! We make desserts from the ingredients available and are capable of making unlikely and surprising combinations and results.

For you, which technology is equivalente to the cherry on top? Why?

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. One of the big trends in QA and Testing for the next two to three years and organizations will need to develop a strategy around it.

Thinking of “sweet dreams”, which dream has yet to be accomplished?

So many that it’s hard to pick! But all definitely sweet!More than dreams are experiences that I would love to live, among them: spend Christmas with my sweet family in Melbourne, Australia, live in another European city (haven't decided which); visit the Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve in Mexico, experience the cherry blossom in Japan (Sakura)...
