Black, undoubtedly. I like discrete things, that don’t scream out for attention.

I would go back to blue. Making diagrams with red or black tones is terrible. Red is the colour of forbiddance and danger, while blue is the colour of obligation or, more importantly, of recommendation.

Not knowing the client well, it’s difficult. Due to my personality, what usually happens is I start talking about several subjects until I can detect one that I see he’s interested in. From there, I can start a conversation. From my experience, clients like knowing what and how things are done in other places. In that sense, I’m lucky! Celfocus has given me the opportunity to participate in several projects in various and very different regions.

Undoubtedly, blue represents what I like most. I think it has to do with several factors related to the beginning of my career. The integration technology that I like best has blue branding, the first version of our CELFOCUS Order Management was blue and my first international client also had blue branding. One might say that I “grew up” surrounded by that colour.

The colour that I like less is white. For me, it represents emptiness. I associate it to blank moments, be it a piece of paper or a PowerPoint presentation when we don’t know what to write.

For me they were always out of style. I don’t wear white socks not even for sports and I can’t remember ever using them. I think I would only accept it, if the person was wearing white pants and white shoes (which, for me, is also not acceptable). I also think it has to do with calling for attention, by clashing amongst other colours.

But going back to fashion, if they’re white socks then it’s got to be those that have the tennis rackets – a great classic.

The colour that I can think of is dark blue. The colour of the ocean. I think that this was an exploratory year, with many changes and experiences at Celfocus, mostly because of our recent growth. Like the history of Portugal, it was through the ocean that we have expanded and, more importantly, that we have stabilized and evolved.

Holding a crooked smile is something that’s really not for me. I try to avoid it as much as I can because everyone around me can immediately tell that something is bothering me.

For me it’s only acceptable in situations where interrupting a conversation or thought may be prejudicial. But as soon as it is possible, I’ll wipe the “smile” off my face and I start saying or arguing what I think.
