Do you prefer odd or even numbers? Why?

I prefer even numbers. I was born on an even day of an even month. The day is 24, the month 12. One is 2 times the other. At home we are 4, 2 men and 2 women and it works just fine. I travel best in vehicles that have an even number of wheels than odd ones.

As a finance professional which story would you be afraid to tell?

The one that if I told you, I would have to kill you. And we don’t want that to happen.

For you, rounding numbers is a necessary evil or the invention of the century? Why?

It’s a necessary evil. It facilitates, simplifies but it breaks the numbers’ characteristics. If it instead of applied to numbers, it were applied to our names, we would all complain.

If you were asked to explain how Celfocus’ business is going, what would you answer?

I would answer with an adjective, not with a number: brave.

If you had to deal with an accounting error, how would it be for you?

I deal with accounting errors every day, it’s a daily test to my OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and, for now, I’m okay. A finance professional, who gets it all right the first time around... you should be suspicious.

Have you ever felt like summing all the main numbers from your contact list? Why?

Never. The main numbers of my contact list are the key to contact people. Those are called numbers just because... I don’t see them that way.

Is it possible to deceive a financial mind? How do you avoid that from happening to you?

Of course it’s possible. We are a preferential target. Sometimes I feel that tricking a financial mind is seen as a challenge. If I see that's the case, I pretend that I’m not much of a financial.

What is your favourite number? Why?

My favourite number is, against all odds, an odd number: the number 7. I didn’t choose it, it just crossed my path. It’s the number of week days, Cristiano Ronaldo’s number, the time my alarm clock rings... In fact it’s not for any of these reasons, but I will say no more.
