Chain Reaction - Why him/her?
By asking a variety of questions, which must be responded quickly and to the point, colleagues identify the person that first comes to mind when asked a tricky question. In the last edition of chain reaction, we left off with João who apparently gets stressed out with really long meetings that mess up his agenda.
Which one of your colleagues freezes with a difficult bug? Why him/her?
José because he doesn’t believe in witchcraft and he won’t rest until he finds the root cause of a problem.
Who at Celfocus finds it difficult to stop working, even on weekends? Why him/her?
Ricardo because he won’t stop thinking about a problem until he finds a solution, even if it means doing it all weekend long.
Who at Celfocus is the best pessimist (especially because he’s right most of the time)? Why him/her?
André! Well, he isn’t the pessimist... I am! I’d say he’s more of a moderate optimist. He has the great capacity of foreseeing problems and most of the time those problems end up not happening because he anticipated them or at least mitigated them.
Which of your colleagues do you admire most for being stubborn (doing what he does)? Why him/her?
António, because he’s perhaps the hardest person to convince.
Which of your colleagues likes thinking (a lot) before taking action?
António in a very positive way, he always asks a lot of questions to make sure we’ve considered all the possibilities.
Which of your colleagues gets bored when there isn’t enough action going on in a project?
Tomás Pereira because otherwise he wouldn’t always be so busy.
