News from Vodafone Ireland
Following up on 2022 communication of the eSign contract with VPC, we have now received greenlight the implementation of eSign in Vodafone Ireland.
The first phase of the project aims to remove paper from Vodafone shops; as the benefits and usability are confirmed, the plan is to expand the scope to back-office sale functions.The implementation of eSign goes in line with the TECH 2025 guidelines – reduction of carbon footprint and increase of efficiency of existing processes.
This is a major milestone for Celfocus as this is the first implementation of eSign in Vodafone. The first of many, we hope!
Celfocus Padel Moments
Our Celfocus Padel Moments group organised an event on the 21st of January, in Lisbon and Porto. The games took place at OPA - Oeiras Padel Academy and Top-Padel Fluvial. On the day of the event, the games and pairs were presented and created randomly, based on their level.
Already play and feel comfortable with this sport? For Intermediate and Advanced level players, there were several games.

Data Protection Day
On January 28th, Data Protection Day celebrates an international effort to raise awareness about data subjects’ rights regarding personal data protection and the importance of respecting privacy, safeguarding data, and enabling trust.
We celebrated this date by communicating the measures taken and achievements attained by Celfocus during 2022.
The ISO/IEC 27001:2013 (Information Security) and ISO/IEC 27701:2019 (Privacy) certifications, achieved by Celfocus last year, reinforced our commitment to safeguard information and protect personal data.
We also recalled an updated list of Privacy SPOCs and our colleagues from the Privacy and Compliance Team. Keep in mind that Data subjects are generally unfamiliar with the risks related to personal data protection and their rights in this respect. Celfocus Trends
This initiative brings us a pitch on technological trends, competitors’ landscape, solutions, and challenges. On the January Edition of our Celfocus Trends, our colleague Miguel Mateus talked about how Digital transformation is playing a crucial role in the way customers interact with businesses.
Celfocus Awards
On January 31st, we celebrated the 3rd Edition of the Celfocus Awards, an initiative that aims to recognise our people for their dedication and expertise in different categories.
As usual, there were two rounds (nominations and votes), for 14 different categories. We achieved a total of 64 nominations and 346 honorable mentions. That’s a lot of talented people on our teams!
