- GDPR 6th Anniversary
Since the GDPR came into force 6 years ago, many countries outside the EU have also adopted their own data protection laws or regulations, nowadays covering around 82% of the global population.
All countries where Celfocus is present outside the EU have specific laws that are based on the GDPR core principles and requirements with the shared goal of ensuring secure processing of personal data and the protection of data subjects' right to privacy. - Promotions 2024
We gathered our Lisbon and Oporto colleagues to celebrate their new roles! Our leadership team with Álvaro José Ferreira, CEO and Sónia Vasconcelos, Head of People, highlighted how critical and influential our people are to make a visible difference at Celfocus.

- Celfocus Insider New Editions
There were two new editions of Celfocus Insider, our student open day initiative. This event welcomed students from some of the best universities to spend a day with our teams for an inside perspective on our projects, tools, methodologies, and so much more.
We partnered with Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) to host the first insider that happened on May 14th. The second edition, took place on June 4th, and was open to all universities.
“insiders” from Instituto Superior Técnico, NOVA IMS, ISCTE, Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal, ISEL, Universidade Aberta, Universidade Lusófona, Code for All and 42, joined us for an immersive experience within our offices and team!
