What is Communication at Celfocus?

Celfocus plays a vital role in one of the most dynamic industries of today - telecommunications. An industry that has come to demand sophistication, excellence and rigour from all. To meet these demands Celfocus has professionalised many of the teams that support activities such as: pre-sales, workshops, project moments.

Celfocus’ communication team works daily to challenge these activities in the way they are communicated both internally, about what is being accomplished and created, and externally with customers and prospects on our offer and delivery strategy.

By challenging colleagues to explore content that teaches and inspires others in various moments and promoting consistency, rigour and sharing across the organisation.

How is Communication done at Celfocus?

The communication team has come a long way in challenging colleagues to look beyond the horizon and providing the necessary tools. Many of these tools and skills have allowed colleagues to excel in crucial moments of interaction with stakeholders.

To guarantee a uniform and coherent use of Celfocus’ identity and tone of communication, infographics, icons, templates and content enhancement has been provided. By doing so, colleagues have been able to impact customers with more sophisticated solution designs and content.

While making direct impact on clients through presentations, infographics and appropriate pitches, the team has also opened an additional communication channel – the digital. To spread messages to an even wider audience, the communication team is responsible for the corporate website, internal newsletter (CALL) and social media (LinkedIn & Facebook). These key communication platforms allow Celfocus to share solutions, vision and initiatives with employees and clients, while also enhancing and promoting employee branding.

To make it all happen, a partnership has been established with a number of external service providers that bring an extra dose of innovation and creativity to some of the work being done. For example, the All Management Event that allow our management levels to discuss and share ideas, initiatives, path and drive for what lies ahead.

Additionally, the team handles various on-demand requests coming from different members of this organization. These requests typically bring forward the creativity and ability to challenge colleagues to think outside the box.

What inspires you?

My inspiration has different sources…

  • those around me, my family, my friends, my colleagues – their individual perspectives.
  • tomorrow – the challenges, moments and conquests of the day/s to come
  • Laughter, fear, chaos, people, travel, culture, language, books...

The possibilities are endless.

"Logic will get you from A to Z; imagination will get you everywhere." - Albert Einstein

Mafalda Barros

What inspires you?

An experience, a moment, an image.

A good cup of wine while talking to friends, spending time with my family, people...

A sentence, a thought: “The only thing standing between you and your goal is the bullshit story you keep telling yourself as to why you can't achieve it.”

Everything and nothing at the same time.

Elisabete Feitinha

What inspires you?

People inspire me, differences inspire me. The ability to come out of the comfort zones and being like oneself.

The ability to stop and the courage, if necessary, to transform and reinvent ourselves.

What inspires you?

Team(work) - how different personalities, backgrounds and knowledge inspire creative roles, learning processes and delivery. On another level and, at the risk of sounding “too millennial” travelling and discovering unknown lands.
