Wordpress is run by Automattic Inc, a company that is 100% distributed. That means everyone works from home, or more precisely, from wherever in the world they wish. This has been their reality long before the Covid Pandemic. 

In this interview, Matt Mullenweg shares the advantages of the model referencing how this has allowed the company to bring in talent from around the world, given people flexibility and quality of life.
