Greater than the sum

Why competition is so last century

Call To Others — Nov 2018

Sharing economy is most definitely here to stay.

Imagine a non-competitive community of food artisans whose combined influence is so much more than the sum of its parts. Cue Valentina Rice, founder of Many Kitchens, believes "We work together by sharing experiences and expertise to benefit the group as a whole. The community finds creative solutions to shared operational issues and maximizes the reach of each of its individual brands. The result is a community model that can be applied to any small business."

Former Vice President of International Sales and Marketing at Penguin, Valentine Rice's corporate work took her around the world and allowed her to explore the culinary delights of nearly every continent. In 2012, she took a significant leap of faith, circling back to her very first passion, family and food. She conceptualized and founded Many Kitchens in 2012, a highly curated online marketplace for artisanal food products.

Many Kitchens strives to bring together a community of people who care deeply about where and how their food is made while promoting producers who value local, sustainable and artisanal methods and traditions.
